As a native Floridian, my early architectural influences were shaped by the Spanish Mediterranean Revival style, brought to life by the legendary Addison Mizner. Visits to James Deering’s iconic Vizcaya estate further deepened my appreciation for the elegance of Tuscan Italian Renaissance architecture with its rich Baroque details — a theme I explore further in the blog “Design Inspirations.”
My travels through Key West and the years I spent living at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo immersed me in the tropical design traditions of the British Colonial Bahamas and the vibrant, soulful aesthetic of the Caribbean.
